Hi Curt,
We'll want the highest duty cycle modes to ALWAYS have a filter on if we run out of filters (though NY3A is likely to also supply his own filters for CW)....
Digital MUST use them always....CW should use them....and SSB is the most flexible.
Ideally, we bring enough filters so everyone uses them at all times, and you're right Curt, they don't do a thing for same band interference.
