[K3PZN-List] Need FD antenna

Perhaps you will find it .... Yes the joy of being assigned 'all the bands' - as most FD stations will only do one or two bands this year (except GOTA and digital).

I sense you could get away with separate 80/40/20 dipoles that could all be on the same feed.  Or maybe 3 separates shared with GOTA.  Maybe you guys will share BPF so you might as well trade the antennas too ?

I was impressed how easily that Andy (the PC wizard) integrated N1MM with MMTTY.  By just setting up a few macros the digital station can rapidly make and log QSO's - which sounds like a huge advance over typing each call sign in 2 different PC's.  Think about it.  For PSK31 (which has much slower contest exchanges) you can still use MixW, and then manually log in N1MM which both can run on the same PC.  The trick is moving soundcard control from N1MM to MixW - but I think you run signal link - so just use 2 soundcards perhaps ?  Seems to me that the digital mode station should be as advanced as those other pre-historic modes?

I should be assemblying the 40m CW antenna this weekend ....

Subject: [K3PZN-List] Need FD antenna

Hello all,

I cann't seem to find the multiband dipole antenna that I have been saving for FD use.  It may showup but does anyone have a multiband (160 THRU 20 MTRS?) dipole with a 50 ohm coaxial feed point.  I have about 300 feet clearance to hang the antenna, so it does not have to be a compact type.  I have all of the coax and nylon line to put it up with.  Please let me know if there is one of these out there that I can use for FD.

Thanks,

John, K3KWO
