[K3PZN-List] Fw: [QRP-L] ham hiker adventure: Three Hundred Zeroes author passing thru

Just curious if anyone would be interested in possibly having the guy who hiked/operated the appalachian trail as a speaker. He had a recent article in QST about it. OK its a dream, but you never know! Literally we tell him when our August meeting is, and we can see where he might be. Just a wild ideal to explore. I could imagine club expenses to be modest. See below. Feedback appreciated.
I have a lot of respect for those that have thru-hiked. Maybe I have hiked 60 miles or so and spent 4 or 6 nights along the trail, but I was in my 20's when this happened. I have been on the AT some the last couple years without the burden of carrying gear.
