Meeting Minutes, 10 January 2010
President Andy Leeds WO3L called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM.
Nineteen members and two guests were present.
The meeting started with introductions around the room.
Evening Presentation:
An Arduino controlled Awning project was presented by Dave Sugar.
Announcements:
The next CCARC meeting will be on Monday February 8th, 7:30 PM at the
Emergency Services Training Center in Westminster.
The next Board meeting will be on Wednesday January 20th, 7:30 PM at
the Emergency Services Training Center in Westminster.
Bill N3WM, Rich N3III, and Tony KF3AK shared some memories and photos
of Frank Rodski K3MTT with the club.
From the mailbag:
No mail was available.
Secretarys Report: The November CCARC meeting report was accepted as
published on the reflector.
Treasurers Report: Pete W3GVX presented the treasurers report for
both November and December, detailing current balances, income, and
expenses. The report was accepted by the membership present.
Committee Reports:
ARES / RACES: The next RACES Drill will be on Tuesday January 11th,
7:30 PM at the Carroll County EOC. The exercise scenario is a Space
Weather Event involving a major solar wind with disruptive properties
that will affect both communications systems and the global power
grid. Everyone is reminded that the CARET Net is held every Tuesday
evening at 8:30 PM on the 145.410 repeater.
DCS Committee: The DCS Committee will be meeting on the fourth Monday
of the month.
Station: Andy WO3L set up a printer for use by the club station.

New Business:
Motion by Bill N3WM: to purchase of copy of NuMorse software for use
by the club for $35.95. The motion was approved by the membership
present.
General Discussions:
Andy WO3L adjourned the meeting at approximately 8:30 PM.
