After some casual DXing earlier today, SKN is alive and well. Lots of QRS CW.
I have made a couple friendly QSO's - one just a few miles and one back to Ohio
... plan to be back tommorrow on the brass key with the glowing tubes.

0000z to 2359z ... very informal. while it brings out old rigs, newer rigs are
fine too! my HW16 won't be the oldest around, but it will be different.
just make contacts, exchange as much info as they can stand. most will want to
converse a little.
I think my coolest SKN contact was a guy with a one tube rig - and as the wind
blew he needed to re-adjust it! He sent me a QSL picture of it.
if anyone feels they aren't ready for 'prime time' email me and I can sked with
you early this evening or tomorrow.
its also ok to mix SKN in with other activities, SSB, DX or whatever. 73 and
HNY.
Curt
