Phil cool stuff (that I will have to review) - I just hope you aren't morphying
into Wayne Green ....

Pre-programmed repeaters?  Well if you develop the capability (delivered via the
web) someone will buy it (but not me ... I only talk on a few of the repeaters
in the memory, I have yet to install a rig into the little SUV the spouse
drives, and my shack rig has mostly been on 410).

I am not morphing into a real contester, but picking out weak signals on 160m
with my K2 during a run was very cool.  While the other manufacturers can't make
a K2 (which is uniquely battery friendly on receive, with 6m built-in also that
it doesn't have) is beyond me.

73 Delightful Christmas and other holidays to the rest

Curt

Subject: [K3PZN-List] KE3FL heads up...

I've put up a few of my articles on my web site

http://cs.yrex.com/ke3fl

The newest is "Build a Recharge Center or Get Control Of Your Power Vampires!"

But two other things you may want to read (below that link) are:

Opinion: "The Other Side Of The Coin..." - Why can't we have the basics of every
radio up front?

and:

Review: "Deal Exterme" - Be careful of this company!

I'll be putting up another titled, "Why Can't We Have This Too?" - about why
hasn't any Amateur Radio manufacturer come out with a radio that auto populates
a memory bank (~100 memories) with your present location reachable repeaters.
