This coming weekend on Saturday August 28th at approx 10AM, 
a high altitude balloon will be launched in Ottumwa, IA. 
Included in the payload is a 20M QRP beacon transmitter on 
14.066.6.

We solicit signal reports during the flight. If you hear the 
HF beacon, pse send a report to W0OTM at  W0OTM at w0otm.com , 
WA0ITP at wa0itp at mchsi.com  or post it on www.QRPspots.com. 
Pse include your Call Sign, RST and SPC and Time of Day.

iHAB (Iowa High Altitude Balloon) Project will launch its 
FIRST High
Altitude/Near Space balloon on Saturday August 28th from the 
Indian
Hills Community College North Campus (Ottumwa Regional 
Airport).  We are
meeting at 9AM to begin preflight operations. Everyone is 
welcome to
attend this inaugural launch of the iHAB Project.
