PSK-31 requires SSB rig operation. Simplex seems to imply in this case both (a) no repeater involved and (b) transmit and receive occur on same frequency. (another clue -- that freq is in the SSB/CW portion of the 6m band)
Of course I have not repaired my 6m transverter yet .... I suspect more folk have 10m capability to use PSK-31 so perhaps that should be considered.

The PSK-31 net on 50.290 MHz, is that "simplex" as in FM mode? Or, is that simplex as in USB (Upper Sideband) mode?

1) MT-63 Net at 14:00L on 145.410 Repeater
2) PSK-31 Net at 17:00L on 50.290 Simplex
