Subject: [K3PZN-List] Zombies (even false SS) on the Air !
Last nite some 'crazies' were pretending to do SS (CW version ...) - i am not kidding they were calling CQ SS and sending the SS exchange. I would have given a local a contact if I had recognized what they were doing and sent the proper exchange !
A crazier bunch will be on the air tonite - Zombies ! Some (maybe most) will operate from places zombies would be (if they were real ... ok i forgot my lunch, my carpool mate and ... so maybe I am a zombie at the moment!)
So if there is no interesting DX to work tonite - crank your rig down to 5 watts (or operate your full gallon as it doesn't matter) and make some QSO's with 'real zombies.'
Exchance for non-zombies is RST STATE AREACODE NAME ... like
559 MD 410 Curt .... explanation: 559 is conventional QRP exchange, but real signal reports are not frowned on by this community ... 577 would work or 429 if justified. you can even make up a name in spirit of the event!
Listen for CQ BOO -- especially around 3560, 7030, 7040, 7120, 14060.

Glad there is plenty of enthusiasm in this hobby - and we aren't carbon copies ... or should i head to the bench to make a cable for my new vintage soundblaster i picked up at the hamfest ...
i might operate as ET to make up for my long callsign ...
73 Curt
