yes definitely the end of an era that started before most (if not all of us) were born.
enjoy the 6m DX, before and after the end of channel 2! and when the skip gets 'real short' watch for some 2m E-skip (i look forward to making my 2nd 2m E-skip QSO some day!)
let's see I almost learned the details of analog TV in college, worked in a plant that designed CRT's (for manufacture in the US) yet, and made my first QSO's with tube rigs -- ok enough nostalgia!
