Yes a well known designer has made another rig, this one I consider a novelty vs the nice yellow box he designed sitting next to my monitor.

I worked this rig (AA1MY operator) earlier this week, so I can testify it can receive (but I made his job easy sending him 100w).  

I've lost my immediate fascination with regens, but maybe it will return by winter.  Many of us have colorburst xtals waiting to go into a simple transmitter!
