[K3PZN-List] Reminder - RACES is on Stand-by in Carroll County

Folks;

The Carroll County Office of Emergency Management has asked that RACES be on
stand-by for 20-January - ready to support the County in case a situation
occurs requiring our assistance.

Please go through your pre-activation checklists. Make sure your go-kit is
really ready to go, and get your batteries charged. Then listen on the 145.410
repeater for any ARES / RACES alerts.

Those of you with scanners or a second receiver may find the following
frequencies interesting: 145.330, 146.610, and 147.105.  

I will be at the Prince George's County EOC tomorrow, so don't wait for me to
get things rolling if either ARES or RACES is needed.
