Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Meeting Minutes, 12 January 2009

President Andy Leeds, WO3L called the meeting to order at 7:37 PM. Seventeen
members and no guests were present.

Evening Presentation:

Andy WO3L gave a presentation about his newly installed WiFi system, which he
has set up to provide a data link between two homes.

Announcements:

The next CCARC meeting will be on Monday February 9th 7:30 PM at the Emergency
Services Training Center in Westminster.

>From the mailbag:

The club's mail was briefly reviewed.

Treasurer's Report:

The treasurer's report was presented, detailing current balances, income, and
expenses. The report was accepted by the membership present.

Committee Reports:

DCS - A DCS meeting is scheduled for the Fourth Monday in January.

Station Committee - No report.

Training & Education Committee - Committee still open.

ARES / RACES - A RACES Commex is scheduled Tuesday January 13th. ARES and RACES
are making plans to provide emergency communications support for the
Presidential Inauguration on Janary 20th.

None.

Andy WO3L adjourned the meeting at approximately 8:34 PM.
