[K3PZN-List] Hike Across Maryland operators badly needed May 2

Frederick County ARES still needs 3-4 operators to provide communications for
the Mountain Club of Maryland's Hike Across Maryland this Saturday, May 2nd. We
need coverage at the following checkpoints along the Appalachian Trail in MD for
the times noted: High Rock (0515-0730), Raven Rock (0600-0830), Cowell Shelter
(0630-1200), and Lambs Knoll (1400-1700). A 5W 2M HT or portable rig with a
decent antenna should suffice and we will be using either 146.745 (-) PL 123.0
or 147.060 (+) PL 123.0 on the Target linked system and/or 146.580 simplex as a
backup between checkpoints. You'll be able to park at the checkpoint or have at
most a 5 minute walk in. ARES membership is not required to participate. Please
