[K3PZN-List] CARET Net Tuesday night & Digital Test

Hi Folks;

The CARET Net will be meeting Tuesday eveing at 8:30 PM on 145.410 MHz. 
After the voice net is over, we'll try some Sound Card digital mode 
experiments.

We had some luck with EasyPal a few months back. This time let's try 
MT-63. It's a robust, Forward Error Correcting mode that reportedly 
works well through repeaters, and can be received by placing the 
computer's microphone near the radio's speaker Let's test that theory 
out tomorrow night.

If you don't currently have software for this mode installed on your PC, 
I recommend you get the FLDIGI software package from 
http://www.w1hkj.com/Fldigi.html   Versions are available for Windows 
(XP and 2K), Mac (OSX), Linux, and FreeBSD
