indeed is the rig functioning?, and you just need some hardware to hold
the front panel in place ?  can this part be ordered from Icom ?  

The rig is working perfectly.  

According to the service manual, I need parts MP-7 spring, & MP-15 1691
release button-1.

I would assume that the part is orderable, since it is still in
manufacturing, but I wouldn't trust myself to install it.  I'd rather
pay $$ to have it fixed, than $$$$ to replace it, because I broken a
more critical part. :)
