Hey, Eric,

Thanks for your message. I'm sad to see you go for
many reasons. (One being that when you were there,
we would sometimes ALSO have the pleasure of your
dear sister, Jamie -- who my daughter, Bekah,
seriously enjoys working with at radio club events!
We miss your dad too.)

Any how, ...

UMBC KNOWLEDGE IN PLAY
If you are so moved, we would really, really profit
from your presence and wisdom on the McHUG mail list.
That's the list started by our club regarding practical
microcontroller chip projects in the greater Carroll-
Montgomery-Howard Co. area.

Others are welcome too! More Info ...

McHUG -- MicroController Ham User Group

About McHUG

The purpose of the McHUG list is to talk about physical
computing in the context of Ham Radio. Physical Computing
is "sensing and controlling the physical world with
computers", in our case, microcontrollers like the PICAXE,
Arduino, Butterfly or the HC908. Since hams may be new to
microcontrollers, the topics can range from how to program
various microcontrollers to applications such as frequency
generation, antenna rotor control, morse code
implementations and sensor/transmitter modules for high-
altitude balloons. In other words, the purpose of this
list is to help hams play with microcontrollers. The
initial subscribers were from the Carroll County
Amateur Radio Club (CCARC).

Eric,

Thanks a bunch for emailing us. (No not overdue at all --
you have been busy with real life). Congratulations that
your hard work in school has paid off with your successful
career launch. Your interest and enthusiasm for ham radio
amidst all the other matters that apply your time are
appreciated by all of us. Your time for the hobby may
wane a good bit (as mine did during my 20's) but we hope
you continue to be interested. If you have the time due
join us at field day or the holidays party. Best wishes
in your endeavors and 73,

Curt
