CCARC Board of Directors Meeting, 23-April-2008

In attendance were Andy WO3L, Gene KB3JHR, Tony KF3AK, Chuck N3TOT, Bill N3WM,
Pat N8PK, and Steve N3SB.
 
1.	Field Day – John K3KWO has volunteered to be the Digital Station Captain. Pat
N8PK has volunteered to be a bonus point coordinator and GOTA station captain,
as required. Bill N3WM and Steve N3SB will set up the CW Pit. Andy WO3L will
chair a phone station. There will be a meeting near the end of May to plan the
setup. There are still openings for the VHF station captain, and the food
arrangements. 

2.	Vacation Bible School – The CCARC has been invited to support the VBS again
this year. If the club is not able to get volunteers by the next club meeting,
we’ll have to turn down the offer. 

3.	Tailgate Fest / Hamfest – The club will complete ARRL sanctioning for the
hamfest. Bill N3WM will start working the contract with the Ag Center. The BoD
has authorized the payment of the $250 deposit for reserving the grounds.

4.	Budget Planning – The BoD has begun the process of budget planning. All
committees are encouraged to convene, plan their projects, and submit their
budget requests to the BoD.

5.	The DCS Committee is planning to spend the rest of its budget on items for
the Go-Kits. The BoD approved this plan.

6.	Tony KF3AK would like to have a group audit the treasurer’s books. Please
contact Tony if you are interested.

7.	May Meeting topic – Practical Antenna Nite – get ready for the antenna
installation season, as well as Field Day. Members are encouraged to bring
their hints, techniques, ideas, and questions to the meeting.
