Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Meeting Minutes, 10 March 2008

President Rich Mitchell, N3III, called the meeting to order at 7:42 PM. Eighteen
members and 1 guest were present.

Welcome Aboard Guests:

Bob Rhodes.

Announcements:

The next CCARC meeting will be on Monday April 14th at the Emergency Services
Training Center in Westminster.

The next BoD meeting will be on Wednesday March 19th, 7:30 PM at the FTC.

The County RACES Drill will be held on Tuesday March 11th, 7:30 PM at the EOC.

The York Spring Hamfest is on April 19th.

The Greater Baltimore Hamfest is March 29-30 in Timonium.

The MS Walk is on Sunday April 13th  at the Farm Museum.

Jeff Edmonson KB3QMM just received his Technician license – congratulations! 
He’s now studying for his next test.

The club’s mailbox was empty. 

Secretary’s Report:

Steve N3SB published the secretary’s report from the February 2008 meeting to
the club’s email reflector. The report was accepted by the membership present.


Treasurer’s Report:

Tony KF3AK provided the treasurer’s report, detailing current balances, income,
and expenses. The report was accepted by the membership present. 

Board of Directors Report:

The BoD report was published to the reflector. 

Committee Reports:

Repeater – The repeater clock has been set for Daylight Savings Time.

DCS – The next meeting date & time will be announced when a new location to hold
the meeting has been found. A desktop exercise is being planned.

Field Day – Andy WO3L and Curt WB8YYY have volunteered to co-chair this year’s
Field Day.
