I listed these from the FD rules. I suggest we dont merely look at them from a score point-of-view, but as 'opportunities.'

On saturday I contacted 4 local newspapers (...or was it 5?) - including the Times. Likely too late to get in before FD, but maybe a reporter will visit us? We should use the opportunity to open the door for interested folk to contact us.

Training. I contacted KE3FL -- Phil mostly likely is occupied with work all weekend. Perhaps some of us can introduce 'training topics' -- why not have a few to happen during prime time on saturday ?

Emergency power. I believe W3JJH is bring a solar array. I will bring my newest QRP rig, and others can bring something if they wish. We just need 5 successful QSO's.

NTS, etc. We should prepare to send messages! And perhaps a training opportunity. (I'm game to be a student).

Engaging the public ... I will work with Pat on the info table -- i'll have a single page colorful flyer available with links to the ARRL's various PR sites (wedothat.org etc.). Key is to have someone available prime time not 'attached' to a HF rig!

Ideas welcome and appeciated. Let's prepare for visitors, and if they dont come we'll train for our future.
