Interesting article on the front of the ARRL website.  One of our challenges is to 'un-geek' ham radio so mortals can relate to us!  

I will post sometime later today on status of our 'bonus points' (= not mere scoring but opportunties to expand our horizons beyond 59/599 MD )

Still looking for ideas - brief/fun/informational training session(s).  

W3JJH mentioned bringing his solar array - please confirm.  I can bring my new triband CW rig for some operator (maybe KE3FL?) to make some alternate power contacts (and maybe others can operate it when our 100w CW rig takes a break).  

I hope to operate some at SSB, digital and CW stations - as well as engaging/training whomever shows up.
