===> NEW SECTION EMERGENCY COORDINATOR APPOINTED

Steve Beckman, N3SB, has been appointed the ARRL Section Emergency
Coordinator for the Maryland-DC Section.  Steve is currently the ARRL
Amateur Radio Emergency Services Emergency Coordinator for Carroll
County and also the RACES Radio Officer.  Thanks to Doug Lindsey,
KB3HER for anchoring the position for the past three and a half years. 
We look forward to Doug's continued advice, help and counsel.
