CCARC friends,

Please enjoy browsing through my 30 photos (and one
QuickTime movie!) of our club Field Day operations . . .

Go to http://patkilroy.com/FD2008/

Kudos to Curt WB8YYY, Bill N3WM and others for the
great work on the highly productive CW station, which
I'm sorry I failed to get photos documented of it in
action. Shame on me!

Kudos to Curt also for the PR flier and for
shepherding the Press on Saturday afternoon and
inviting him ("Eagle" Bob Allen) to our fine dinner.

Thanks to Steve N3SB for originating the NTS message
for bonus points, and John K3KWO (and others) for
copying the ARRL FD bulletin for bonus points.

John W3JJH - feel free to take any photos if you are
planning to create a club "results" web page for this
year's Field Day operations, as you have done so nicely
in the past. (I don't expect to have my FD2008 page up
for but maybe only a month or so.) Thanks!

Other fellow members - feel free to take and keep any
photos whether or not you are planning to create a
PowerPoint presentation for a future club meeting.
(However, please do NOT change the image filename for
any photo, which includes the date, my camera ID, my
image catalog number and more.)

Sorry I didn't get everyone and everything in the
photos. Didn't realize I was going do any photo
"documenting" when I innocently brought one of my
camera bags to Field Day. I hope we will enjoy photos
from other members as well, if they are available.

I had a lot of fun. My daughter Bekah had such a good
time with everybody that she already signed up to do
Sweepstakes with me this fall! Thank you to all who
did so much work to make the experience so enjoyable.

Good work, team!

Cheers,

Pat

Subject: [K3PZN-List] Field Day Bonus and Accolades

Thanks to EVERYONE for a successful Field Day. It exceeded my
expectations on fun, and tear-down was accomplished perhaps in record
time.

These special thanks come quickly to mind:

Jeff W3JSE for his extreme service in shopping and cooking the food
Bill N3WM for supporting shopping for food supplies
Steve N3ESE for supplying the CW station
John W3JJH for supplying the alternative power station
John K3KWO for supplying the digital station with rig & shelter
Pat N8PK for arranging crab soup being added to our menu, and providing
our only youth participant who deserves much praise for operating with
us
Tony AF3AK for extensive logistics support behind the scenes
Andy WO3L for tower climbing and networking of phone, and FD leadership
Gene KB3JHR for arranging PC logistics and CT installation
William KB3GHE for leading antenna installation for CW + enthusiastic
phone operating
Pete W3GVX for precision launching of our CW antenna and providing
needed support to digital operations

(all of this is great under statement of your contributions!)
Do provide any constructive feedback of FD to Andy and myself. (I can
imagine we easily want to add VHF/UHF, an additional CW station, and
even more participants to our list).
