I have a Heath kit HD-16 Code Oscillator with your call sign on the bottom of it. It
was "returned" to me along with a QRP 80-m transceiver I had loaned to a beginning
ham. I was wondering if you had loaned it out & never received it back or had you
sold it & that person is now missing it?

Phil...........Ya know as I look back, actually all the way back when I left
Bridgeport, NY.  Bobbie and I moved to the Baltimore area in 1995, and I affiliated
with the CarroI County Amateur Radio Club where I held the office of Vice President
in 1997&8 (Larry, W3XF was President)...... It took me a while Phil to remember and
if I go down stairs and look in one of my file cabinets I'll bet I would find
several big folders of newsletters and assoc paperwork of that time frame.   I did
loan out my Heathkit code practice osc. (The little green box :-) )but so help me I
never remembered Too WHO !!........
 
Boy you do take me back a few years.........:-).I hope everybody is healthy and
Happy........Many Many fond memories with the Carroll County Bunch  
:-)..........When I travel down to see my Sister in Woodbridge Va. I come down US 83
into Baltimore and try to raise someone on the 145.41 machine.  There is a several
mile stretch along that road about 25 or 30 miles before getting into Baltimore that
I can hit the machine.......So I give out a call and talked to a couple of
guys......I could never remember Larry's call  when I wanted to....(CRS you know 
:-))
 
Would you believe that I still have the little 30 mtr kit from the club project that
I believe Steve N3SB had arranged a bunch for the club.
 
Say hello to Wayne N2UN for me (I do hope he is well).......
 
If your on HF, LETS MAKE A SKED .....OK
 
OH........Hang onto the code practice oscillator and give it to a new promising  CW
motivated HAM  :-)

I retired in 1999 and Bobbie and I are doing very well.  Treasurer of the Utica
Amateur Radio Club Inc. and work on a lot of old IRON (You know Boat Anchors) Got
lots of glow in the dark radios  :-)
