[K3PZN-List] ARES has been asked to help with Inauguration

Hi Folks;

ARES has been asked to provide assistance during the Presidential Inauguration,
coming up next month. Specifically, the folks who are planing spectator safety
are asking for our help on the Mall itself, and in managing the 10,000+ buses
that will be transporting the expected 5 million spectators in and out of the
area. Approximately 75 - 100 hams are expected to be needed. The call for help
is being put out to the entire Maryland-DC Section, and will go further if we
aren't able to get enough volunteers from this section. 

More details should be available shortly, and I'll pass them along as soon as I
get them. Please let me know if you can be available to help. Sooner would be
better, so that we know when we need to expand our request to other Sections.

This is going to be the Inauguration of a lifetime. Why just watch it, when you
now have an opportunity to be a part of it??
