[K3PZN-List] Farewell CCARC de N3FNE

Fellow CCARCers,

I am moving to Grovetown, Georgia (near Augusta) on 1
May.  Since moving to Carroll County in 2000 and
joining the CCARC, I have enjoyed participating in the
club's meetings, projects, tailgate fests, hamfests,
and field days.  Despite being an Extra, I learned a
lot, which just goes to show that one can keep growing
in our hobby.  My station in Westminster really
improved with the knowledge I gained while here.

My one regret is that I did not have more time to
devote amateur radio and the club.  With two plus
hours on the road to/from work every day, extended
time at the office, out-of-state travel, and five
acres to care for, my hamming time was limited. 
Nevertheless, I was still able to earn DXCC and WAS on
more than one band, and engage in a number of
contests.  

Ironically, my new house in Georgia is only three
miles from work but it has those dreaded antenna
restrictions.  I have a plan for stealth
dipoles...shhhh.  If all goes well, I'm sure I'll be
working some of you from down south.
