Greetings Everyone: 
  
I am posting to let you know that I am stepping down as the Carroll County RACES
Officer effective the end of October.  The reasons are simple.  First, I've lost
interest in ham radio.  I just don't have the passion for it the way I did in
the past.  Second, I don't feel that I have the time necessary to devote to
running Carroll County RACES properly including participating in drills with my
current Comcast work schedule. 
  
I'm sure that, in the event of an emergency, I'll still pop out of the wood work
to help out.  Addationally, I plan to continue to pay dues to the CCARC.  And,
you can count on me to throw in my two cents from time to time (especially when
you DON'T really want it). 
  
If you or anyone you know is interested in assuming the position of RACES
Officer, please let me know.  The clock is ticking..... 
  
It is a true pleasure and an honor being associated with such a fine group of
friendly people.
