Dear CCARC Prefix and Contest Enthusiasts;

This weekend brings my favorite contest - the CQ
Worked All Prefixes contest. It is both a local AND
DX contest - and your next door neighbor with a fancy
prefix is as highly valued as someone halfway around
the world for a sought after "muliplier".

Everybody works everybody and the exchange is simple:
59 + serial #.

The high bands are warming up (a reliable source
states 15, 17 & 20 are good to Europe today), and
that's PERFECT timing for the
Multi-Operator/Multi-Transmitter effort at WX3B in the
WPX contest this weekend.

A very distinguished list of operators including:

 WX3B, NY3A, N3ST, WM3T, N3SB, W3ADC, W3ADX, K1RH, and
W3ARS

are expected to be operating on all bands 10 - 160 in
the contest starting Friday evening at 8:00pm.

If you would like to join the fun, please email me
directly or call me at 410-346-6011.

I am especially DESPARATE for 10 meter contacts -
please consider giving that poor soul on 10m (that's
me) a break and tuning around from time to time -
especially Friday night and during the daylight hours
after 1:00pm.

Hope to hear some CCARC activity this weekend...

73,

Jim Nitzberg WX3B
