Bill, Rich and Frank -
wow! this is fantastic you guys are doing this, and
FB on Genny's ham radio connection.
keep in mind these are 'kids' who may also be seeing a
demo on wild animals from MD DNR, or the like.
i think the SDR stuff may be over their heads a bit --
but they would find it interesting to be exposed to
CW, voice and maybe an easy data mode like PSK31.
they will likely be more fascinated by what is being
done versus having much interest in the apparatus
(these kids born in the 90's or 00's think this
technology stuff grows on trees or has always been).
yes having Frank at his home will be perfect (a
picture of Frank and his station, and maybe a map
relating to where the church is might help them
relate).
yes a half hour or so demo of sound and visual may
spawn some new hams in the future.
