[K3PZN-List] CCARC a Contest Club?

Hi Jim & Group;

It's a more accurate statement to say that CCARC is a
general purpose amateur radio club - there's something
for just about everyone involved in any aspect of
amateur radio!

We have specalties in Emergency Services
Communication; a group of VHFers, some digital
specialists... - and yes, there are some of us that
are quite interested in contesting.

I would not categorize CCARC as a "contesting club" -
The Potomac Valley Radio Club and Carroll County
Contesters are examples of that type of club.  

It is very interesting, however to note the extensive
overlap between all 3 groups!
