All due to existing and forecasted weather conditions throughout the Mid
Atlantic Region, I am requesting that all available Amateur Radio Emergency
Service operators begin monitoring and reporting adverse conditions in their
respective regions.

Operators with capabiltiy of HF create liaisons with jurisdictions for regional
managment of health and wealfare, weather conditions and need for assistance.
Also provide liaisons for RACES, MARS and SHARES networks.

I will be monitoring MEPN frequency of 3820 LSB, the TelPac node W3PGC 145.750
and 431.075 is running in central Prince George's County with internet tie in.
Included is a listing of local emergency nets and frequencies. Please be
advised that all Skywarn operators monitor for nets activations. Use of APRS,
MT 63 and Winlink are advised, coordinate frequencies on phone nets prior to
transmissions.
