Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Meeting Minutes, 8 January 2007

President John Hart, K3KWO, called the meeting to order at 7:36 PM. 
Eighteen members and 1 guest were present.

Presentation:

The club watched a set of Disaster Preparedness videos from FEMA.

Announcements:

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on Wednesday 17 January, 
7:30 PM at the Fire Training Center. All members are welcome to attend.

Rob K1RH has become a Volunteer Examiner. Congratulations Rob!

The next club meeting is on Monday February 12 2007, at the FTC.

Nominations are now open for club officers and board members.

The BARC mini-fest is on Wednesday January 31 at the Timonium Fairgrounds, 
and the Odenton hamfest is on Sunday January 28.

Rich N3III displayed his second-place QRP award certificate from his 
participation in the Maryland-DC QSO Party.

 From the mailbag:

No club mail was available for review.

Secretary's Report:

Steve N3SB published the secretary's report to the club's email reflector. 
The report was accepted by the membership present.

Treasurer's Report:

Our treasurer was not available at the meeting. No report was available.

Board of Directors Report:

John K3KWO briefed the club on the highlights from the November and 
December Board of Directors Meetings.

Committee Reports:

There were no committee reports this evening.

Pete N3FNE won the evening door prize  a digital multimeter.

President Hart adjourned the meeting at 8:28 PM.
