Yes, we are watching out for the cold and snow
drifts. In Florida, you there keep watching
out for them new 'n' nasty tornados, eh?
The METAR data is a (nearly) perfect tool for
our flying high-altitude balloon experiments
as we meet FAR Part 101 weather requirements.
Since we launch just west of Hagerstown and
the balloons often pass over Westminster, it
is indeed great news that we have such
instrumentation so close to home.
