HI Joe,
Thanks for your response. If everyone shows up we
should have about 10 with you which is plenty. Once we
decide what everyone is to do and when it should only
take about 5 minutes from the time we pull the pin
until we have it folded over. The point between about
80 degrees and 35 degrees is the time we need hands
due to the big leaver arm. The antenna weighs only
about 12 lbs and the tower is aluminum so it's not
very heavy.
I will direct you to my house since that is the
simplest and I don't think you will need to bring any
tools I have what we need.
Rather
than trying to tell you how to get to Bill's house why
don't we meet here at mine about 10AM. It's much
simpler to direct you here, and Bill's is about two
miles from me.
>From Westminster, south on RT-27 to Taylorsville then
right (West) on Rt 26. Go about 1 1/2 miles to the
Frederick/Carroll Co line Buffalo Rd. Turn left
(south) on Buffalo Rd. About 1/4 mile down a row of
houses starts on the left. The first house has a tower
and beams that's Doug K3DUG. I'm the last hours, 13Th
if I remember correctly. You will see on your right as
you approach a row of trees starting, we're directly
across from where the trees start. Of course you can
see my tower.
I will also monitor 146.52 simplex so call if you need
instructions or get lost. Meet at my house about 10AM
and we will go as a caravan from here. It only about 2
miles away.
