Greetings Frank;

Here's a coverage report for you -- Saturday afternoon Chuck N3TOT and I were
able to access & talk through the 147.285 machine from the Second Floor
Meditation Deck at the Carroll Hospital Center. We were using HT's running 5
Watts and rubber duck antennas. The meditation deck is blocked on three sides
by the structure of the hospital. Signals were noisy or good depending on the
exact location we stood, but spots could be found where receive signals were
full scale. We encountered similar characteristics while testing through the
145.410 machine. Access to either machine from inside the hospital (at least on
that side, which faces West) is impossible.

PS ... Our visit to CHC was not for health reasons! N3SB
