I have just gotten confirmation that the entire FTC is available for us for
the weekend. There are no other groups or activities planned there.

Based on the comments I have received, most of the club is not prepared to
operate on HF outdoors during the weather we expect this weekend.

Therefore, FIELD DAY 2006 OPERATIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE EMERGENCY
SERVICES TRAINING CENTER ON WASHINGTON ROAD IN WESTMINSTER.  Operations
from
Springfield Hospital are cancelled.

Until we know what other uses are placed at the Training Center this
weekend,
we will assume that we must operate from the club station.  We will still
be
QRP/Battery, but we will be a Class-F station.

Station Captains, we still need you QRP rigs and batteries.  CW and digital

stations will still require battery powered computers for keying the rig or

generating PSK.

N3WM, we will not need your generator.  Thanks for the offer.

Set up will still begin at 2 pm today.
