I also have been following Randal's recovery closer as
my grandfathers were miners, one of which died in a
mine accident.  

I know the league is encouraging sending him QSLs but
I think it makes sense to wait until he is doing well
enough to get home.  I can imagine his family does not
need the burden of lots of mail at this time.  Let's
hope and pray for his well being.
