THE ANNUAL FAR FEST hamfest will be
held in Gaithersburg, Md. next month
on Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10.

Please plan to attend!

I will be staffing the AMSAT table on
Saturday.  I hope the CCARC table will
be close by the AMSAT table.  (But I
don't know if anyone has volunteered
yet to make a club table happen.)  A
request to FAR to reserve a table for
the club is normally done in advance,
like, by a week or two beforehand.

The "cost" for a club table at the FAR
Fest is to supply at least two club
members to volunteer for two hours
each, with a choice of either (1) set
up on Friday evening, (2) selling
admission tickets at a gate on
Saturday, or (3) clean up on Sunday
afternoon.  Not too shabby!
