[K3PZN-List] Packet Problems

Greetings Rich;

I was on the BBS last night, and listed the calls it heard. It didn't hear yours
 -- which just confirms that you have a problem on your transmit side.

Suggest you listen on a second receiver to see if you are keying the radio and
getting packet tones on your transmit audio.

I tried my FT-857 on packet last night, and I had some problems getting it to
work initially. I found out that the data cable connector was not fully mating
with the socket on the radio. I trimmed the excess insulation on the cable
connector with a knife, and that fixed the problem.
