Greetings All;

Just in time for the August meeting -- here are the July minutes for your 
review.

Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Meeting Minutes, 10-July 2006

President John Hart, K3KWO, called the meeting to order at 7:38 PM. 
Fourteen members and 1 guest were present.

Announcements:

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on Wednesday 19 July, 7:30 
PM at the Fire Training Center. All members are welcome to attend.

The next club meeting is on Monday August 14, at the FTC

Members are encouraged to pick up some hamfest flyers and distribute them 
at upcoming hamfests  plenty are left so don't be shy.

The TailGate fest is coming up on August 13; the Mason-Dixon Hamfest is 
coming up on October 29.

Welcome to Justin Stewart KB3NTU, who just got his license and has come to 
the club meeting for a visit

No mail was available.

Secretary's Report:

The secretary's report was briefed by Steve N3SB. The report was approved 
as submitted to the CCARC email reflector, by the membership present, with 
no objections.

Treasurer's Report:

A treasurer's report was not available.

Board Meeting Notes:

The BoD has accepted an offer from Jim WX3B to coordinate the Holiday 
Party. Field Day plans were also discussed, including alternate plans in 
case predicted heavy rains actually occurred (they did). The BoD discussed 
some options for the Repeater Committee, and how to continue repeater 
maintenance with Larry WX3F being sent out of the country with the National 
Guard.

There were no committee reports this evening.

Closing notes:

The K3PZN brown bag door prize for this evening was won by Mike N3VOP. Mike 
won an antenna handbook.

Jim K4CGY has a list of equipment he is selling for Bill WA4BMP. If anyone 
would like a copy, please contact Jim directly via email.

President Hart adjourned the meeting at 8:10 PM.
