or not I will be over extended, but I would like
to do something a little different and the station
committee sounds about right.

Dear Members,

Please send me an email at jvc749 at adelphia.net or
leave me a message at
410-386-0198 if you would like to be a member of
the station committee for the coming year.  I am
putting a list of members together and plan to
call a meeting before the end of April.  It would
be a great way for you to help out the club and
have an active role in shaping the evolution of
our equipment and capabilities.  It is also a
great way to meet other folks in the club and try
out your skills if you have not been a member of
the committee in the past.  We will be concerned
with antenna and tower maintenance, station
equipment, organizing the shack, and making
decisions for equipment and accessory purchases. 
We will also discuss educating the club on how to
use the equipment we have and how we can most
effectively prepare the station and members for
use during emergencies.  It should be a lot of
fun.

I look forward to a productive and active year.
