I am able to activate the new repeater from Mt. Airy, but as Pat N8PK and
Keith W3MDC, the audio isn't understandable. It turned out my power was
dialed down, but on the way home last night with the power to 5W, it still
was understandable. A guy named Grant was on, but he couldn't make out my
voice.
I am good as far as Taylorsville, but beyond that it gets dicey on RT27.
Thanks to John K3KWO, Steve N3SB, Pat N8PK, and Keith W3MDC for making the
commute to and from the BoD meeting entertaining.

I was able to bring it up here in southern CC with a 5W HT to roof mounted
J-pole. I don't know if I was actually making it into the repeater.
