The monthly club meeting was held on May 9, 2005 at 7:30PM at the Fire Training Center.
The number of members present was 22.
The number of guests present was 1.
The required minor quorum was 8, and the major quorum was 17.
A quorum being present, the meeting commenced.
There was a presentation given by Jack Kolb W0 (expired).
The topic was Old Time Electronics.
After a short break, the meeting resumed.
Announcements:
There is an ARES drill Tuesday night. May 10, 2005.
There is an ARES meeting Thursday night May 12, 2005 at 7:00PM.
The BOD meets next Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 7:30PM at the FTC.
The next club meeting is Monday June 13, 2005.
The topics are Dayton review, and the club budget for FY2006.
There are Hamfest flyers available for distribution.
There are several hamfests coming up:
Frederick Hamfest
Memorial day Hamfest
Manassas Hamfest
This weekend is Mid-Atlantic QSO Party.
The station is ready, and light refreshments will be provided.
This Saturday is Armed Forces Day, cross band test.
There is a 6m sprint on Saturday night.
Dayton Hamvention is May 20-22, 2005.
Chesapeake Bay Bike Tour is June 3-5, 2005 in Salisbury.
There is a countywide drill on June 17.
Field day is June 25/26 at Mt Airy Middle School.
Field day Chair, N3VOP is seeking more station captains.
He has 3, and needs 15.
The club picnic is Saturday July 16 at 1PM at Gambrill state park
The QSL design contest will be decided at the picnic. (There is a prize.)

The Secretary's report was approved by unanimous consent.
The Treasurer's report was approved by unanimous consent.
The BOD's report was approved by unanimous consent.
Digital committee report: PSK31 is nearly silent.
Repeater committee report:
The 450MHz repeater appears to be OK.
The BBS is going up & down. The power is being cycled by workers.
Remote: still working to connect
Doug N5LBJ reports 450MHz locked on transmit.
The 2M is having problems with hearing
Doug N5LBJ was at the club station over the weekend to implement the motion passed last month. The generic account is user, and the password is user. All other non-admin accounts were deleted.
Jack Kolb conducted the door prize drawing.
The winner was: Mike N3VOP.
The prize was: ARRL handbook.
