HELLO EVERYBODY;
HERE ARE THE BOARD MINUTES FOR MARCH 2005, PLEASE SEND ANY ADDITIONS,
DELETIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO ME ASAP, THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE
THE CLUB AS YOUR SECREATARY THE PAST THREE YEARS,

CARROLL COUN TY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB BOARD MINUTES
The CCARC Board of Directors met at the Fire Training Center on March
23d, 2005, present were Keith W3MDC; Joe N3YHIM; Doug N5LBJ; Steve N3SB;
Jerry N3GQK and John AK3Z, also present were guests Jamie; John K3KWO
and Bill W3TSG.
President Beckman read the incoming mail; he said that part 2 of "fix
the power supply" will be at the April meeting; he hopes to establish
his committees for the coming year at the April meeting; our insurance
needs to be reviewed to insure that all members, and possibly guests,
are covered in the event of an accident; he established goals for the
board for the new year as, 1) increase member social events, make the
club more fun for the members and to increase the level of ham radio
related education; 2) spread out the work load among the membership and
3) conduct a contest to come up with a new club QSL card.
Doug N5LBJ announced the monthly presentations for the entire year,
these will start at 7:30PM each meeting and will last for one hour after
which will be the business meeting, and although the list is subject to
change it is scheduled as follows;
April - How to use an Ohm meter and Oscilloscope
May - History of electronics and communications
June - Dayton Hamvention
July - Use of an Antenna Analyzer
August - Digital Communications
September - Club Member Biographies
October - Contesting
November - Vintage Radio Equipment
December - Holiday Dinner
January 2006 - Soldering
February - PE3 Express Satellite
President Beckman listed coming events; March 26 ARES/RACES meeting
10AM at the North Carroll Library; April 2-3 Timonium Hamfest; April 10
MS Walk; April 23 NCAC presentation in Prince Georges County; May 14
Mid-Atlantic QSO Party; June Salisbury Bike Ride is tentative; June 17
Carroll County Emergency Drill; June 25-26 Field Day and July a Club
picnic is planned.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 2130 hours.
