- BASICS I SKYWARN CLASS: This class is essential for becoming a
  Skywarn Spotter. It is a 3-hour class that covers the basics of how
  Skywarn and the National Weather Service operate, what you need to
  report and how, and how to spot severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.
  This class is a pre-requisite for all other classes.

  March 1st, at 6:30 PM EST, Jefferson County Commission meeting room,

- MSN: The Maryland Slow Net, 3.717MHz 19:30 local every evening 
  helps you learn CW and CW traffic handling. Take a look at their

- A "new" SSB 2-meter net: Saturdays 20:15 local, 146.590 - They may
  eventually move to the SSB area, but for now they're up here.
  Also, they are using their vertically polarized antennas.

Saturday breakfasts are usually on the first and third Saturday
of each month. During Fall, Winter, and Spring we've been meeting
at Myersville, Maryland, Volunteer Fire Company at 8:00AM. Since
MADXRA is a -regional- club, we meet for breakfast at other
