The T&E Committee has two new tools available for the Technician license
course and learning/practicing Morse code skills.
The ARRL Video course material, practice exams and random question generator
software from the ARRL Technician Video course instructor's manual is
available on both of the club station's PC's.
John W3ADC generously donated a copy of Ham University's Morse code course
which will also be installed on the club station's PC's. Perspective Hams
will be able to access the facilities during Clint's Sunday evening CW
class.
The ARRL Techncian Video course is now available in the club library.
Thanks to Keith, we have "working copies" of the VHS tapes. If you know of
anyone who is physically challenged would find it difficult if not
impossible to attend a training class, this video course would be a perfect
way to learn the material at home. On that note, Clint and his VE's are
ready, willing and able to travel to the same candidate's home to administer
the test.
SKYWARN CLASS this month. Thanks to Eric Krichinsky KB3HKG for the info.
