[K3PZN-List] WX3B: Open House starting Friday 6:00pm for ARRL DX SSB Contest

Dear Carroll County Contesting Enthusiasts;

I am pleased to report that due to the gracious
assistance of many Carroll County Amateur Radio club
members (that's about 9 of you)....

WX3B phase 1 is complete and ready for the ARRL DX SSB
contest starting this Friday.  Dinner will be
available at 6 (Pizza/Soda/Snacks) and the contest
starts at 7.

There are some very interesting improvements that have
been completed, including Monobanders for 15 & 20
meters (with rotors!), a 2 element "N3OC" wire beam on
40 meters, an 80 meter vertical and a 160 inverted "L"
that plays really well.  

We are entering this contest in the Multi-Operator
Multi-Transmitter category so that means I need
operators!  

There will also be daylight contesting on Saturday and
Sunday for those interested in the high bands.

food.
