NEWS FROM THE DIGITAL NET:
HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE 2 METER, USB, BPSK-31 OR BPSK-63 capability?  Mike,
N3VOP and myself ran a short test on 2 mtr. SSB voice and signal levels were
pretty good between Mt.Airy and Rocky Ridge.  It looks like digital modes
would be good too.  Let me know if you have this capability and we will move
the Digital Net from 6 mtrs to 2 mtrs.  The frequency would be 144.550 MHZ,
USB and the mode would start as BPSK-31 and some BPSK-63.  If we all have
the software for RTTY, we could try that too.  Let me know your thoughts.  I
should know more by the next club meeting.  144.550 MHZ looks pretty good.
