I just received a call from Chuck's brother in law, who is also a ham.

PVRCer Chuck K3FT passed away unexpectedly.  The family had not heard from
him for several days and found him SK at home last night.

Chuck had been an operator at many PVRC stations, inclucing N3OC, WR3L,
W3PP and W3LPL.  Chuck was also king of the MD QSO party winning it for
the last two years from my station, and instrumental in forming the new
Mid-Atlantic QSO party.  His last contest was the September VHF contest,
which he and I operated together.

His family will be letting me know about funeral arrangements and I will
pass them along as soon as I know something.
