Greetings Everyone,

I just wanted to remind y'all that the ARRL Emergency Communications Course 
I is now accepting students for the class that begins later this month.  If 
you are serious about ARES/RACES operation, I highly reccomend this 
training. In fact, it might become a requirement for MCC van operators.  
Right now it is FREE upon successful completion.  The $45 cost is refunded 
once you pass.  You will need to pay $10 for the text book, however.

I have sucessfully taken all three ARRL EmComm courses and I'd be happy to 
respond to any  concerns you might have via e-mail.  But please, register 
now!  Spaces are limited. (I sound like a commercial.)  Registration will 
probably close within the next couple of days.
